Transmitted by Sexual contact. Sharing blood. Mother to infant at birth. Symptoms Initial signs: small, painless sores at the point of infection. Later signs: recurring rash, fever, joint pain and hair loss. Prevalence 70,000 people are diagnosed with syphilis each year.	Treatment Syphilis is treated with antibiotics. w/o Treatment You can give it to your sexual partner(s). A mother can give it to her baby during childbirth or have a miscarriage.
